Sonic Generations Demo Gameplay Video
On June 23, 2011, Sonic the Hedgehog turned a whopping 20 years old! Yeah, he's younger than me, strangely, and because of this, Team Sonic announced that they would be releasing a playable demo of Sonic's next big adventure, Sonic Generations, in celebration of Sonic the Hedgehog's 20th Anniversary! Just incredible!
The playable demo is available on Xbox 360 and PS3 and will only last for 20 days, June 23 to July 12 and when the timer hits zero, the demo will be inaccessible, so you better hurry on over(I'm sure you've already done so!) and download the game and play it 5000 times before July 12th!
I've made a gameplay video of the exciting demo, which you can view below.
The demo offers only one level, Green Hill Zone and you'll be able to only play as Classic Sonic, but in the full retail game, players will get to play as not only the original blue hedgehog, but also Modern Sonic, as well. (Not too pleased with that decision, however, as it's all about 2D side-scrolling supersonic action! Yeah!)
After about 50 tries(couldn't get enough!), I was able to beat Green Hill Zone in about 1:05. I'm gonna keep trying as I know I can get just under a minute!
What say you? How fast can you beat the level?!

Angry Birds Rio Launches with new Amazon AppStore!
Angry Birds Rio, a sorta sequel to the massively popular bird-flinging game, Angry Birds, is now available on Android, but you won't find it in the Android Market. You will, however, find the new addictive AB game through the just launched Amazon AppStore, which you can download the game free of change(with no ads to boot) for a limited time(today only), then it'll be $.99 thereafter.
You must have an Amazon.com account, and it also appears that you have to have a credit card on file to download the game(after you download/install the Amazon AppStore app). But hey, it's Angry Birds, and there are no catches that would keep me away from my Angry Birds addiction(lol).
Also, you must have the Amazon AppStore installed at all time in order to run Angry Birds Rio, but you can uninstall the other Amazon app, if you so desire.
Anyways...the game runs extremely well on my Droid X. It's fun. It's addicting(like all AB games are). And it's free. Three things that should get you to download the game.
So, what you waiting for? Go download Rio now!
(Also, this game rocks..but I highly doubt the movie will..just sayin')
