Angry Birds Rio Launches with new Amazon AppStore!

Angry Birds Rio, a sorta sequel to the massively popular bird-flinging game, Angry Birds, is now available on Android, but you won't find it in the Android Market. You will, however, find the new addictive AB game through the just launched Amazon AppStore, which you can download the game free of change(with no ads to boot) for a limited time(today only), then it'll be $.99 thereafter.

You must have an Amazon.com account, and it also appears that you have to have a credit card on file to download the game(after you download/install the Amazon AppStore app). But hey, it's Angry Birds, and there are no catches that would keep me away from my Angry Birds addiction(lol).

Also, you must have the Amazon AppStore installed at all time in order to run Angry Birds Rio, but you can uninstall the other Amazon app, if you so desire.

Anyways...the game runs extremely well on my Droid X. It's fun. It's addicting(like all AB games are). And it's free. Three things that should get you to download the game.

So, what you waiting for? Go download Rio now!

(Also, this game rocks..but I highly doubt the movie will..just sayin')
