Well, if you do in fact need help, then head on over to Mahalo's Gears of War 2 Walkthrough and watch it be built out live. Keep in mind that the walkthrough is a "work in progress" and that not everything is covered yet.
Additionally, Mahalo took the liberty of creating walkthrough videos to go with the insanely detailed walkthrough of Act 1-5. Also note that not all videos have been uploaded yet, but they should be in due time.
